My mom is so fked up

she said someone volunteered to do the mowing at the hotel

which I had no problem with and even welcomed it one I don’t really care for mowing it’s like a full time job itself and two I love the other things I do at the hotel during work

a little later she hit me with

dont take work too seriously because you probably won’t be doing it for much longer

i explain what I love my job

and she tries to say but can’t get it fully out you’re just I’m just what like she wanted to say you’re just not and then I don’t know what

she commented my mowing looked terrible and it needs to be done again

and she’s always right about work

so I’m already preparing to get let go

even though both managers are fully about me working there

just because my mom said one thing and didn’t even finish

she said they’re going to hire another maintenance man and I won’t have a job

because I can’t do everything I was never taught how to do most of the stuff

i fix tvs I clean the pool I pick up trash and do the bins

i mow as often as I can

and tonight she dropped the bomb that she thinks I’m going to get fully replaced

and I know she’s right because she’s never wrong about work

it sucks so bad to be so about it and put in 5 6 hour days 7 days a week

and she’s telling me I’m not going to have a job

no maintenance man can work 7 days a week 8 hours a day that’s just insane you basically forgive your home life and home life is working at the hotel from there on

the more I think about it the more it frustrates me

i want to keep my job and I work hard to keep my job

i fully understand why the last maintenance man quit you work your ass off every single day and the front desk lady tells you what you do isn’t good enough and you’re going to be replaced literally doing everything they ask and more

he was making $13 an hour and was saying he should be making 18-25 an hour

the maintenance man before him was making 20 an hour

i make 11 an hour and I never complain do everything asked and more

i fully understand why he quit it is some bullshit

im going to stay and keep working my ass off until she tells me not to go in

but that’s pretty fucked up mom

like just because someone offered to mow and I agreed they should she wants to get rid of me completely that’s some disrespectful shit even I feel under appreciated and that’s exactly why the last guy left
