This is your reminder

That if you have pets that go to the door with you and you tell bye every time you leave the house

That you should pretend you’re about to leave

And tell each other bye

My cat Salem nibbles my hand like she wants me to stay

Then just turn around and stay at home

Because they always want you to not leave 

And you always leave and you miss them and they miss you

So you can give them what they want and just not leave for once

After your bye I’ll be back ritual 

Salem is such a good cat

She loves she eats her food she uses her box she always runs to the door when I tell her I’m going to the store or to work

She sleeps right by my head

She gives me kneading massages 

She looks out the window and waits for me to return

I love Salem and Salem loves too

I pick her up and spoon her under the covers

And she screams for help 

She understands when I talk to her

She knows she’s pretty and she knows she loves

She is the perfect kitty cat

She’s about a year and a half old

She still gets the zoomies from time to time

She loves her treats

She won’t eat human food most of the time but sometimes she’ll eat a bite 

Usually she licks it and smells it but doesn’t take it sometimes she does

She’s all black her coat her nose her paws everything 

She has the cutest little front teeth
