Donnergugi(Zeal cap +1) Dat Mod

Zeal cap +1 is one of the best headpieces for 60 cap ballista especially when augmented with an FoV augment. Gathering all those thunder corals to make plenty of Zeal cap +1s can be quite a pain. Donnergugi the NM that drop Thunder coral, the main mat for zeal cap +1, has two beetles that look like place holders. This dat mod allows you to know which beetle is the correct place holder and let you watch closer for Donnergugi.

What this download is, is a link to a modded Eastern Altepa Desert name list

instead of showing two Sand Beetles where Donnergugi spawns, now one is named PlaceHolder

Placeholder is Donnergugi's place holder.

Guide to install:

* Open your "C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM2\13" folder

* Drag and drop the downloaded 96mod.dat file to your "C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM2\13" folder

* Delete the original 96.dat(You can make a backup of it if you would like, that's smart.)

* Rename 96mod.dat to just 96(the same way it was before you deleted dat 96.dat)[It should look the same as it did before when you are done, just with the new modded 96.dat]

this was much more relevant back in the day when Zeal cap+1 sold multiple times a day for 6m each

almost no point now other than to preserve the way it works

I certainly would not camp donnergugi with zeal selling for 2m once every few months

but it was important back then if you had high bonecraft because it made so much money

so keeping it up
