That feeling when

You’ve been using other people’s code and programs for 20 years

And you’ve been self teach yourself to code for 20 years

And you are finally at the point where you can successfully write lua and build python gui

Being able to script navigation and cleanly script menu automation 

Being able to write hacks you’ve never seen anyone else ever offer to anyone even talk about

Remembering those tools you tested out 18 years ago with almost zero knowledge in how they worked

And today being able to literally write the exact same program

My all in one tool is becoming so advanced I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made

And to think just a year ago I didn’t even know how to write a program that could interact with the ffxi window

All starting with my crafting compass

And now I have a fully working program I use every single day

Running codes to test if it worked a million times getting no where

Then one day a light bulb just went off

What I had been tinkering with for months finally made sense 

I don’t know how other programmers do it, most seem like they just know and I find that amazing, it’s like they’ve read all the books and field tested all the different variations of every code

Like they can actually learn the languages and be 100% fluent

Well I’m not like that at all

I feel like I have an idea and I can accomplish most things but by no way do I know the entire language 

Some of the luas for 11 are so complex I have no idea where they even start it looks like they came straight out of a super computer almost like time itself wrote them

Still planning on rereleasing my program

Every single day it seems like I find something new I want to add and I do and if usually works

Many new things since the last version I had up

I had it up for about a month and didn’t get one single download 

I don’t know what the deal about that was 

If it was up for that long I almost doubt adding new features is going to bring more people in to download and use or test

But I’m having a blast writing it and using it while I play

The main features I use are:

Digging hack

Menu navigation 

Some new features 

Navigation window now has inputs for the ocr position on the screen

An entity window that can scan the zone for dead or alive entities. This window also have a few other options like /follow target or use an ability on target. It would make a very good claim bot. I tried to write a farming tool but it turned out to be a little more work than I had anticipated so that’s on the back burner for now. Maybe a future update.

The scripting function uses .txt up down targetid and wait all work. Originally wrote for ferry auto board but with a tiny adjustment it’s great for menu automation 

Obviously you can write and use your own .txt for any situation 

And navigation also works in the .txt

I’m having so much fun writing and testing this

Even if I did release it again and got 0 downloads again I’m just happy to be involved in this scene

I wish I could build up enough confidence to share my work in the elitemmonetwork discord but there’s some serious programmers in there and I don’t want any conflict
