website maintenance + website stats + quick update

Getting about time to consider some changes to the website
freshen things up
maybe move crafting compass back to trinket and get rid of the render version
consider changing the layout

just some simple changes

stats update:
this last year has been the biggest year for upbe4t.com yet over 90,000 views in the past 12 months
the horizon fishing guide has got over 350 views since being posted
to think we were only at 20,000 views after about 13 years being live
and in the past two years jumped from 20,000 views to over 128,000 views

this website really does not get the attention it deserves from me
I post when I have something I think others could benefit from or updates to what I am doing in game
when I finally get back on my feet irl hopefully I can get back to taking this site serious and actually get some good content out
my ssi is supposed to get fixed in 2 months and that will give a ton of freedom to actually pump out content
I have 10 more months of supervision then I can start smoking and drinking again which really triggers my creative side to create that good content
as far as programming i've really hit a wall, everything that can be made already is made and I have no idea what I could write that isn't already written
my last project was converting a .py I wrote to a c# standalone and it worked the program works and everything went as planned but during the process I learnt c# is very very different from .py and requires several steps i'm not really comfortable with yet. Really I just need to learn the commands and the code structure
end game for programming, I want to clean up and enhance the all in one tool
the hard part about that is the code to run that all in one is about 3,500 lines long of .py
straight converting to c# would be impossible
and the only way to reliably upgrade it is to break it all down to sections for what it does
need to save the beginning of the code, break all the things it can do into separate sections, and save the end of the code
then go in to all the different sections add and remove more lines of code
then have the beginning, middle sections, and end section all work together like they should
and once you get past about 3,000 lines gemini no longer works properly and you'll get page terminated
so while I would love to jump on this and get an upgraded version out
it's going to take most likely a long time before I can get to it
and embarrassing to say but the main reason, I'm too interested in actually playing horizon rn to want to take a break from horizon to work on my all in one  that maybe 4 people besides me actually use
possibly isolating the tools but then I lose my ability to use keys
it's something i'll have to sit down with some smokes and coffee and a lot of alone free time to figure out.

On the bright side:
SSI is going up, just maybe 2 more months of waiting
Supervision only has 10 more months, only 9 more office visits
I can finish paying my fees in 7 months
I get my ebisu this sunday
making major progress with CoP only 1 more path of 5-3 left

the girls are all napping hard
waiting for my mom to come over, she's supposed to bring some rent money, toilet paper, and kitty litter
I currently have Degrassi Season 3 on PlutoTV playing
Which I watch daily since I lost my disney+ sub BUT I will get it back hopefully before October Gotta watch Hocus Pocus all october

My little apartment is going great just me and my three girls
Salem gets to go outside all the time, she went out today, but it was a little too hot for us today  88F

got my ebt today and spent $80 on groceries
5 pounds of chicken breast, pound and a half of beef fajita, 3 cups of folgers instant coffee, head of lettuce, reeses chips ahoy, grape juice, pico de gallo, guacamole, 2 pounds of fresh peaches, large tortillas
realized as soon as I left the store I forgot tuna, salt, and chicken seasoning
I'll probably go back as soon as I post this to get that stuff.

I need to do my dishes, Sweep + mop, and change the litter box
which is stuff I always need to do lol

Anyways before this post gets entirely too long
time to post it and get on my way

I'll see you guys next post!

-upbeat
