Bard gearsets & macros

TP:

A tp set is used to generate tp by meleeing. This set consists of Store TP, Multi Attack, Haste, Accuracy, Attack doesn't hurt but it doesn't do much.

I tested different capes double attack, dual wield, & stp. Results in testing show store tp is the better of the three choices.

With this set honor march and haste II you can consistently skillchain every time.

Weapon skill 1:

Weapon skill 1 this is what I use for most dagger weaponskills. I have a second weapon skill set I use for savage blade, but since I have a carnwenhan I almost never use naegling. I find much better results going for darkness Rime -> Rime(Distortion) -> evisceration (Darkness) -> Rudras storm (Double darkness) and that's if you can self sc, usually you'll have other DDs and it's about chaining with them when that happens you're usually better off focusing on making double darkness with rudras

remembering to keep AM3 up so rime every few mins

Fast cast:

Fast Cast is used for applying dummy songs and casting most spells. Reraise protectra shellra utsu stoneskin blink cures. I don't use a cure potency set as I haven't made one because I don't /whm that often unless I'm doing a krt pt with all DDs and we don't have room for a healer trust. fast cast makes a big difference speeding up the dummy songs.

Song Duration:

Song duration is what you want to actually cast songs wearing. This set gives 12 minute songs which is plenty of time for NiTro to reset to resing 12 min songs again. Not much to say about it, you want enough song+ to cap for your march and minuet. I have some small upgrades to make but I am not that worried about them as I am plenty happy with this set.

Macros(ctrl 10):

ctrl 10 this is mostly for dummy songs fast cast the 4 dummy songs I use, and if I clarion call I always use nq madrigal, duration set, and horde lullabies

Macros(alt 10):

Alt 10 This has the instrument selection, TP sets, weapon skills, and Foe lullabies

Macros(ctrl 1)

example of my ctrl 1 this has elegy march minuet and madrigal for most content you use 1 march and 3 minuets

Macros(alt 1):

just an example of my alt 1 line this is mostly used for pianissimo ballad and mazurka

tp ws fc and duration song set is pretty self explanatory

the way my macros work will need a little deeper explanation in the way they are wrote

the biggest thing is the honor march macro

equips marsyas then <stpt> to cast honor march

then you switch back to ghorn for the next 3-4 songs

ideally you want honor march + 3/4 minuets but that doesn't always happen if you are not getting haste II you'll need 2 march + 2/3 minuets

my macro placement allow for a nice flow in gameplay

the gear allows for only casting once every 12 mins so nitro is always up
