and it was sad to all of us

you repeated it that many times

we said

if you want us to come around or call

please do not mention your god jesus and church

then we showed the future

which is us not calling or going over

because we asked to not mention church or your god jesus

but you were too attached to those ideas

for US to feel comfortable

we wouldn't ask to stop if it was fine with us

it's at the point of a sad addiction

to us

not a healthy love for church and your god

we don't want to hear about it every single time you try to get involved as a father

we have our own religious preferences

getting defensive like that

makes us see you doing something wrong in our eyes

it's sad

like pan handling 

or eating out a trash can

it's not a healthy addiction

that's getting your issue to us

your love for church and your god jesus

trimmed back, for our sanity

so we don't have to deal with that conversation every single time we see each other
